Arsenal are still interested in signing Argentina winger Cristian Pavon despite having an offer rejected by Boca Juniors in January, the Mirror reports.
Boca were reported to have turned down a £26.5m bid from the Gunners for Pavon, who impressed for Argentina at the World Cup.
He is being touted as a possible replacement for Alexis Sanchez at Arsenal.
Meanwhile, Tottenham face competition from Wolves for the signing of Colombia star Juan Quintero, the Mirror say.
The Mirror have previously linked Spurs with Quintero, who played on loan at River Plate from Porto last season and has impressed at the World Cup.
The newspaper now say newly-promoted Wolves, who plan to spend heavily after reaching the Premier League, are also chasing Quintero.
Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo played for and managed Porto and is said to be using his connections – and those of agent Jorge Mendes, who has close links to the Midlands club – in order to snap up Quintero this summer.
The Mirror also say Southampton will beat West Ham in a race to sign Barcelona defender Marlon for £10m.
Meanwhile, The Sun say Chelsea are on the verge of confirming Maurizio Sarri as their new manager.
The Blues, widely expected to axe Antonio Conte, are reportedly close to installing ex-Napoli boss Sarri after reaching an agreement with the Italian club, where he remains under contract despite having been replaced by Carlo Ancelotti.
The Sun say Sarri’s first signing could be Russia midfielder Aleksandr Golovin, who will apparently cost £27m from CSKA Moscow.
The Sun also say Fulham want Nice striker Alassane Plea for £25m.
West Ham are reported to have made an offer for the 25-year-old but the Whites are also said to be keen.
