Manchester United continue to be linked with Tottenham’s Danny Rose.

Talksport have picked on reports – this time coming from Italy – that United are keen to land the England left-back.

Italian website Tuttomercatoweb claimed that United boss Jose Mourinho is planning a January move for Rose, who has not played so far this season because of injury.

United were linked with him during the summer and it is claimed they plan to make an offer for Rose when the transfer window opens.

Meanwhile, Tottenham rejected an approach from French club Nice to take Harry Winks on loan last season, according to the Daily Mail.

Former Arsenal winger Marc Overmars is reportedly in line to return to the club as director of football.

The Express have picked up on Tuttomercatoweb claiming that an agreement has been reached for Overmars, 44, to leave his current role at Ajax at the end of the season.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has reportedly always opposed the appointment of a director of football.

It is claimed that Overmars will be brought in as part of an attempt to smooth Wenger’s departure when the Frenchman’s contract ends in 2019.

The Sun have picked up on a report that Arsenal want to sign striker Miguel Almiron from American club Atlanta United

Calciomercato reported that Arsenal are planning to target the Paraguay international in an £18m deal.

The Sun say Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is being lined up for a possible return to his previous job as Italy manager after next summer’s World Cup.

And Crystal Palace sent a scout to watch Besiktas striker Cenk Tosun in action for Turkey against Iceland, the Croydon Advertiser reports.
