Real Madrid have again been linked with Harry Kane, this time after Zinedine Zidane was asked to comment on the Tottenham striker.

At a press conference ahead of the Champions League match between the two clubs, Real boss Zidane was asked for his thoughts on Kane.

Zidane replied: “He is a key player for Tottenham, very good at everything but he always does it all towards the goal.

“He does not stay, he takes the space with speed and he’s very good. He’s a complete player. He didn’t seem to be but in the end he is.”

The Daily Mirror say Zidane’s comments suggest Kane is top of Real’s hit list and that the Spanish club are planning a £150m move.

The Times say Tottenham would want more than £200m to sell the England forward.

Meanwhile, Tottenham centre-back Toby Alderweireld says there has been no progress over negotiations about a new deal with the club, The Sun reports.

Arsenal and West Ham are among Premier League clubs interested in Sheffield United midfielder David Brooks, according to the Daily Mirror.

The Mirror say Liverpool are leading a race to sign Brooks and that Arsenal, West Ham and Newcastle are also keen on the 20-year-old, who was recently called up by Wales.

It’s claimed that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has been monitoring Brooks and is planning a £10m bid when the transfer window opens in January.

Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder recently said: “David won’t be going anywhere in January.”

The Mirror also say Arsenal are looking for potential buyers for Mesut Ozil and are unhappy with his recent attitude and performances.

And the Daily Mail say Barcelona are keen on Chelsea’s Marcos Alonso.
