Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson wants to sign out-of-favour Bournemouth striker Benik Afobe, The Sun say.
The Congo striker has scored 10 goals in 30 starts for the Cherries since being signed from Wolves for £10m in 2016.
The Sun say Palace are looking to sign him for £10m when the transfer window opens in January.
Afobe is one of a host of players Palace have been linked with since Hodgson took over as manager at Selhurst Park.
Meanwhile, the Daily Mirror say Chelsea have been given the chance to sign Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The Gabon international has been touted for a possible move to the Premier League – and often linked with Chelsea – during successive transfer windows.
And the Mirror say the Blues have been given the chance to snap him up because his relationship with the Bundesliga club has apparently broken down.
The Daily Express, on the other hand, link Aubameyang with Liverpool, while German newspaper Bild report that his brother has made it clear the player intends to stay at Dortmund.
And West Ham will step up their interest in Krasnodar’s Russia international striker Fyodor Smolov, according to the Daily Mail.
Smolov has scored 12 goals so far this season and is apparently rated by Krasnodar at £15m.
