Arsenal are reportedly leading a race to sign Udinese midfielder Jakub Jankto.

The Sun have picked up on Italian outlet Calcio Mercato claiming that Arsenal are set to beat Juventus and AC Milan to his signing.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger reportedly tried to sign Jankto during the summer transfer window.

The Sun say the Czech Republic international, 21, could replace Jack Wilshere, whose contract at the Emirates Stadium expires at the end of the season.

Meanwhile, the Daily Star say Manchester United’s Nemanja Matic is likely to miss his side’s game against Arsenal on Saturday.

Former Chelsea midfielder Matic limped off during United’s win against Watford on Tuesday.

Chelsea and Tottenham continue to be linked with Watford’s Richarlison.

The Sun claim Watford fear they will lose the Brazilian if an offer for him is made.

Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois continues to be linked with Real Madrid.

The Daily Mail again claim that Real are looking for a new keeper and could move for Courtois or Manchester United’s David de Gea at the end of the season.

And the Daily Mirror reckon the Spanish club’s president Florentino Perez has warned De Gea that if a deal cannot be agreed to sign him Real will turn their attention to Courtois.

And Chelsea are the latest club to be linked with Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil.

A number of UK newspapers have picked up on a story in German publication Bild, which claimed Chelsea are among clubs interested in him.
