Paper round-up: Chinese clubs reportedly eyeing Spurs duo and Sanchez speculation continues

Tottenham’s Dele Alli and Harry Kane are among the English players now being targeted by Chinese clubs, it is claimed.

The Daily Mail say Chinese sides are keen to sign younger players from the Premier League and are willing to pay £800,000 a week.

Everton’s Ross Barkley and Liverpool’s former Chelsea striker Daniel Sturridge are also among those said to have been discussed in meetings between Chinese Super League representatives and intermediaries.

Meanwhile, the Daily Mirror say Paris St-Germain are privately urging Alexis Sanchez not to sign a new contract at Arsenal because the French club believe they can land him in the summer for a cut-price fee.

It is claimed that Sanchez’s representatives have been made aware that PSG are interested and would be willing to beat the wages on offer at Arsenal.

The Sun say Gunners boss Arsene Wenger will not make any signings in January and instead try to secure new contracts for Sanchez, Mesut Ozil, Olivier Giroud, Francis Coquelin and Santi Cazorla.

However, The Sun then say Wenger wants to sign left-back Ricardo Rodriguez and if he cannot land the Wolfsburg man will turn to Valencia’s Jose Luis Gaya.

The Times reports that Cazorla and Per Mertesacker are being offered new 12-month contracts.

Celtic striker Moussa Dembele has little interest in leaving Scotland despite being linked with West Ham, according to the Scottish Daily Mail.

And the Guardian say Crystal Palace and West Ham will compete for the signing of Hull City’s Robert Snodgrass.
