Hammers linked with City’s Zabaleta

West Ham are interested in signing Manchester City defender Pablo  the Mail on Sunday say.

Hammers boss Slaven Bilic has been tipped to sign a right-back this summer and has recently been linked with Zabaleta’s City team-mate Bacary Sagna.

Former Arsenal man Sagna’s contract expires at the end of the season and he is said to be keen to return to London, with Bilic reportedly interested.

But now it is claimed that Bilic would look to snap up Zabaleta, whose City deal also expires this summer, if the 32-year-old becomes available.

Meanwhile, the Sunday Mirror say Winston Reid is in line to have his contract improved by West Ham, earning him a pay rise in line with Jose Fonte.

It is claimed that recent signing Fonte moved from Southampton on wages of over £70,000 a week and Reid is among a number of Hammers players set to be given a similar deal

Michael Antonio is “revising his demands” in light of Fonte’s reported wages, the Sunday Mirror say.

And the Daily Star Sunday say West Ham are planning to sell Andy Carroll and replace the striker with Liverpool’s Daniel Sturridge.

It comes amid speculation that Carroll could be sold to a Chinese club this summer.
