Transfer round-up: Arsenal reportedly in Onyekuru talks

Arsenal are in talks to sign Nigerian striker Henry Onyekuru from Belgian side KAS Eupen, according to Sky Sports News HQ.

The 19-year-old, who has been linked with Everton and Southampton, reportedly has a £6.8m release clause in his contract.

He is the top scorer in Belgium this season and a number of European clubs have been made aware of his potential availability.

Meanwhile, Tottenham are among clubs the Daily Mirror claim are interested in Leicester City winger Demarai Gray

The newspaper say Liverpool are confident of a £12m deal to sign the 20-year-old and that Spurs and Everton are also keen.

He reportedly has a release clause in his contract and the Mirror say Liverpool plan to table a bid when the summer transfer window opens in July.

The Daily Star, which has linked Lyon’s Alexandre Lacazette with a move to Arsenal, now say the Gunners’ hopes of signing him appear to have ended.

It comes after Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas revealed that the player has verbally agreed to join Atletico Madird.

And Davinson Sanchez of Ajax is the latest central defender to be linked with Chelsea.

The Blues have been linked with a host of centre-backs in recent transfer windows, with many touted as a possible replacement for John Terry.

The Sun and the Star have both picked up on Spanish website Sport claiming that 20-year-old Colombian Sanchez is a target.

It is claimed that Chelsea have turned their attention to Sanchez because another of the centre-backs they have supposedly targeted, Paris St-Germain’s Marquinhos, is apparently set to join Manchester United.

That has supposedly led Chelsea to try to land Sanchez ahead of Barcelona, who have also been linked with him.
