Arsenal have been linked with Kalidou Koulibaly.
The Daily Express have picked up on reports in Italy claiming that the Gunners are interested in the Lazio defender, who was previously tipped to join Chelsea.
Koulibaly has since signed a new contract, which runs until 2021, but it is claimed that Arsenal have made an enquiry about him.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is said to have identified Koulibaly as a potential signing but Lazio manager Maurizio Sarri apparently does not want to sell the Senegal international.
Meanwhile, the Daily Mirror and the Daily Mail both report that Jack Wilshere has been told he can leave Arsenal.
The England international is now in the final year of his contract at the Emirates Stadium.
The Mirror say he is unlikely to be offered a new deal and that Bournemouth, where he spent last season on loan, do not appear to be interested in signing him.
The Mail say Wilshere will take time to consider his future and could see out the remainder of his contract – a situation Arsenal apparently want to avoid.
And the Express reports that Wenger is prepared to let Alexis Sanchez see out the final year of his Arsenal contract rather than sell the Chilean this summer.
