Portuguese newspaper A Bola say Arsenal are showing an interest in Porto midfielder Danilo.
It is claimed that the 25-year-old Portugal international is being monitored by the Gunners ahead of a possible move.
Danilo, who is under contract at Porto until 2020, is reported to have a €40m buy-out clause in the deal.
Meanwhile, Bournemouth’s former Arsenal forward Benik Afobe has suggested that Jack Wilshere will not make a decision on his future until the end of the season.
There has been speculation over whether Wilshere, currently on loan at Bournemouth from Arsenal, will be at the Emirates Stadium next season
“To be honest, I don’t think he even knows what he is going to be doing,” Afobe told reporters.
“We have convos all the time and he just wants to play week in week out and take it month by month and see what happens at the end of the season.
“The main thing for him is about getting his confidence back and staying injury free.
“He is working hard every day, he is a top professional, and he has brought some life into the squad.
“Not just on the pitch but on the training ground he is quite loud and quite funny and it shows how far Bournemouth have come bringing these sorts of players to the club and hopefully we can keep progressing and getting better.”
