Harry Winks is reportedly ready to speak to chairman Daniel Levy about his lack of game time at Tottenham.
The England international has struggled to hold down a first-team place and recently hinted he might look to leave on loan when the transfer window reopens in January.
He is keen to secure a place in England’s European Championships squad and knows a lack of match action will not help his cause.
The Daily Telegraph say Winks is now looking to discuss the issue with Levy.
However, the newspaper also suggest a loan move for Winks would not be straightforward because Dele Alli is more likely to leave on loan.
Letting both players go would potentially leave manager Jose Mourinho short of midfield options for the second half of the season.
The Daily Mail are among newspapers reporting that Alli could be on his way to French giants Paris St-Germain.
Winks, 24, has not made a Premier League appearance since October.
Speaking at a press conference last month, Winks admitted: “Definitely, my situation at Tottenham is difficult at the moment.
“It’s important that I keep fighting and working as hard as I can to stay in the (England) squad and to stay in the team.”
