Harry Winks will reportedly consider his future at Tottenham if he does not get more game time.
The midfielder, 24, has made just four Premier League appearances this season and faces stiff competition for a place at Spurs.
And the Daily Telegraph reports that Winks could look to move elsewhere if the situation has not changed when the transfer window reopens in January.
Speaking at a press conference, Winks admitted: “Definitely, my situation at Tottenham is difficult at the moment.
“It’s important that I keep fighting and working as hard as I can to stay in the squad and to stay in the team.
“Every time I get the opportunity for England I love it. It’s a great place to play football here, it’s free and the lads get on really well, it’s a great place to come to.”
Winks came on as a substitute during England’s Nations League defeat against Belgium.
And Ashley Cole felt Winks made a positive impact after his introduction.
Speaking on Sky Sports, former England star Cole said: “You’ve got Henderson in front (of the defence) with Declan Rice.
“Maybe I would like to see someone a little bit better on the ball – forward passing, keep it ticking a little bit.
“When Harry Winks came on I think he opened the game up a little bit. There was a little bit more forward passing.”
