Tottenham’s Under-23 side lost 4-1 to Everton on Monday evening.
Kazaiah Sterling (pictured) scored for the visitors at Goodison Park, where all the goals were scored in the second half.
Former Charlton forward Ademole Lookman opened the scoring just after the hour mark and Bassala Sambou made it 2-0 eight minutes later.
Spurs pulled a goal back when Marcus Edwards’ shot was deflected towards Sterling, who nodded home.
But Everton scored twice more, with Kieran Dowell heading in before Dominic Calvert-Lewin pounced on a poor clearance to make it four.
