Paper round-up: Tottenham tipped to move for trio

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino wants Maxi Gomez and Lazio defender Luiz Felipe, the Daily Mirror say.

Celta Vigo striker Gomez (pictured) was previously pursued by West Ham, who have been tipped to target him again this summer.

The Mirror say Pochettino wants to take him to north London and that the Uruguay international will be available for a knockdown price if Celta go down.

Reports suggest that a release clause in Gomez’s contract, currently for £42m, will drop to £22m if Celta are relegated.

Felipe has been touted as a possible replacement for Toby Alderweireld.

Meanwhile, the Daily Star say Spurs want Ajax’s much sought after defender Matthijs de Ligt and are ready to pay £69m.

Arsenal scouts have been watching Ajax’s David Neres, the Daily Mail say.

The Sun say Arsenal target Joan Jordan could be available for £12m this summer because of a release clause in his Eibar contract.

The Sun also reports that Real Madrid will offer Chelsea £85m for Eden Hazard. It comes as reports in Spain claim that a deal for Hazard to move is close.

And the Mail say Zenit St Petersburg want Chelsea’s on-loan Real midfielder Mateo Kovacic.
