Tottenham moved to the top of their Champions League group by coming from behind to win 3-2 at home to Eintracht Frankfurt. Here’s how we rated the Spurs players.
Hugo Lloris: 7
Unlucky when he produced a fine stop when trying to save the day after Eric Dier’s error only for Kamada to follow up to score the opening goal. Pulled off a great save late on to deny the visitors an equaliser.
Emerson Royal: 7
Solid enough defensively but didn’t offer much going forward.
Christian Romero: 6
Did Dier no favours in the build-up to the first goal, with his risky pass leading to the defensive mishap. Decent after that and had a header saved.
Eric Dier: 6
An appalling mistake led to his team going behind but he was actually pretty good after that.
Clement Lenglet: 7
Did well. Tidy defensively and useful on the ball, building attacks from his left-sided position.
Ryan Sessegnon: 7
Always eager to get forward down the left and was involved in many of Spurs’ most threatening moments.
Rodrigo Bentancur: 7
Does the simple things so well. Nothing overly exciting, but very neat and tidy.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg: 8
Underlined his influence with another superb performance in midfield. Creative going forward and won countless challenges.
Son Heung-min: 9
Just brilliant. Equalised with a cool finish and later scored with a cracking volley. A constant menace to the visiting defence.
Richarlison: 7
Worked hard up front and linked up nicely with Son and Harry Kane.
Harry Kane: 7
A rare penalty miss but he stuck an earlier one away and provided an assistant for one of Son’s goals with a sublime pass.
Oliver Skipp: 6
Worked hard but was slightly off the pace after coming on.
Yves Bissouma: 6
Lacked sharpness but it was a useful run-out.
