Tottenham are prepared to more than double Christian Eriksen’s wages in order to get him to sign a new contract, according to the Daily Mail.

The Danish midfielder has kept his options open so far and his current contract expires in 2020.

Barcelona and Real Madrid are said to be interested in Eriksen, who scored for Spurs against Cardiff this week.

But the Mail say Spurs believe they can get him to sign an extension before the summer and are willing to offer him much more than his current £70,000-a-week wages.

Meanwhile, the Daily Mirror say Chelsea defender Gary Cahill is likely to sign for Fulham, West Ham or Watford.

Cahill is expected to leave Stamford Bridge during this month’s transfer window and has also been linked with Arsenal.

West London Sport reported last month that Fulham were looking to sign Cahill, whose contract is due to expire this summer.

The Cahill to Fulham story has since grown – and the Mirror say he will choose between three clubs and also that Chelsea remain keen on Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson.

Bayern Munich have increased their offer for Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi to £30m, The Sun say.

Also according to The Sun, Wolves have submitted an £18m bid for Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham, who is currently on loan at Aston Villa.

Monaco boss Thierry Henry is looking to sign Crystal Palace defender Mamadou Sakho as well as Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas, according to The Independent.

The Mail, however, say Palace have no intention of letting Sakho go.

Huddersfield are set to complete a loan deal for Crystal Palace midfielder Jason Puncheon, The Sun reports.

The Times reports that West Ham paid vice-chairman Baroness Brady £438,000 for consultancy work last season on top of her £898,000 salary.

Millwall will challenge Celtic for the loan signing of West Brom winger Oliver Burke, The Sun say.

The Sun also claim Adel Taraabt is in line for a shock return to QPR from Benfica.
