Paper round-up: Spurs reportedly haggling over Grealish fee

Tottenham are set to win a race to sign Jack Grealish but Daniel Levy is determined to exploit the financial situation at Aston Villa, the Daily Mirror say.

Midfielder Grealish is expected to leave troubled Villa following their failure to win promotion back to the Premier League last season.

Spurs have been tipped to snap him up, but the Mirror suggest chairman Levy is haggling over the transfer fee.

Meanwhile, The Sun say West Ham are close to completing the signing of Jack Wilshere.

The out-of-contract midfielder is moving on after leaving Arsenal.

The Sun say he is set to move to the London Stadium on a three-year deal worth £100,000 a week.

Arsenal fans fear manager Unai Emery could sell Aaron Ramsey in order to buy Barcelona’s Andre Gomes, the Daily Star reports.

It comes after Gomes was linked with a possible move to the Emirates Stadium.

The Star have also picked up on reports in Italy claiming that Chelsea have agreed personal terms with Roma’s Brazil goalkeeper Alisson.

A number of newspapers continue to report that Chelsea are close to confirming the departure of manager Antonio Conte.

And Fulham want Celtic and Belgium defender Dedryck Boyata, according to The Sun.
