Harry Kane’s team-mates fear he could leave because of Tottenham’s failure to win trophies, according to the Daily Telegraph.
Boss Mauricio Pochettino conceded after this week’s 2-0 defeat against Chelsea that Spurs are now out of the race for the Premier League title.
Striker Kane was said to be “devastated and angry” that a shot at the title has again passed him by, the Telegraph reports.
The newspaper say this has left Spurs players believing that Kane could seek to move on if the club does not start winning silverware.
Meanwhile, the Daily Mirror have picked up on reports that Arsenal are preparing a bid for Brazilian youngster Gabriel Martinelli.
The Gunners are said to be ready to pay £4m for the 17-year-old, who plays for Sao Paulo state side Ituano.
Chelsea will offer veteran goalkeeper Willy Caballero a new contract – if the club can reach its home-grown quota this season, the Telegraph reports.
And the Daily Express reports that Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson believes Eagles star Aaron Wan Bissaka has been unaffected by reports linking him with Manchester United.
“What I like about him is that he continues to work hard at his game, and the professionalism he shows,” Hodgson said.
