Paper round-up: Tottenham linked with Leicester star as Eriksen replacement

The Daily Express say Tottenham are eyeing Leicester City midfielder James Maddison.

Spurs were among the clubs linked with Maddison prior to his move from Norwich to Leicester, where he has made a big impact this season.

The Express say he is being considered by Spurs as a potential replacement for Christian Eriksen but that Leicester are determined to keep Maddison and plan to offer him a new deal.

There continues to be speculation over the future of Eriksen, whose contract expires next year.

The likes of Real Madrid and Paris St-Germain have been linked with the Denmark international amid reports that contract talks with Spurs have not progressed.

Meanwhile, The Sun say Tottenham face spending the rest of the season at Wembley unless chairman Daniel Levy gets their new stadium ready in the next three weeks.

The Sun have also picked up on reports in France linking Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante with Paris St-Germain and reports in Portugal linking the Blues with Benfica duo Joao Felix and Ruben Dias as well as Sporting Lisbons’s Bruno Fernandes.

Felix has been touted as a possible replacement for Eden Hazard, who continues to be linked with a move from Chelsea to Real Madrid.
