Tottenham boss Antonio Conte has identified five potential signings, according to The Sun.
The newspaper say Inter Milan’s Nicolo Barella, AC Milan’s Franck Kessie and Fiorentina’s Dusan Vlahovic are on the radar along with Borussia Monchengladbach’s Denis Zakaria and Kim Min-jae of Fenerbahce.
Conte knows Barella well as the midfielder played under him at Inter Milan, while Ivory Coast midfielder Kessie has long been linked with Premier League clubs, including Spurs.
Kessie’s contract expires at the end of the season and, unless he signs a new deal, he will be able to hold talks with Spurs from January with a view to moving on a free transfer in the summer.
Forward Vlahovic has impressed in Italy and a number of other clubs have been linked with him. The Sun suggest he could be a replacement for Harry Kane.
The versatile Zakaria can play in defence or midfield and is another player who has previously been touted for a move to England.
Meanwhile, South Korea centre-back Kim is an international team-mate of Tottenham star Son Heung-min.
He has been nicknamed ‘The Monster’ in Turkey for his performances there and there has been speculation that he could be snapped up by a top European side next year.
