Christian Eriksen provoked a mixed reaction from Tottenham fans on Twitter despite scoring twice in the 5-0 thrashing of Swansea on Saturday.
The Dane followed up his strike at Chelsea with a brace against the Swans, as Spurs kept in touch with the top four.
But despite finding the net with a header and a shot in the final 20 minutes, Eriksen still attracted some criticism for his overall display.
Still not convinced over Eriksen though, despite his goals he just hasn’t looked at all the player he was

Eriksen managed to get a goal by bottling a header

Oh, so Eriksen is the messiah again?
Wait till he does it consistently against actual opposition, not these frauds. #COYS

He didn’t have the best game, but hoping those goals will kick start Eriksen’s Tottenham career.

However, a lot of fans were pleased to see Eriksen back on form, if only to silence some of his critics.
That was for the people a couple rows behind me that say Eriksen should be subbed off after 10 minutes every week!

No more slagging off eriksen now then? You know we could stop attacking our players when they are going through a bad phase.
