Spurs youngsters hit back to draw against Chelsea

Chelsea and Tottenham drew 1-1 in the Under-18 Premier League on Saturday.

Marc Guehi put Chelsea ahead in the first half at Spurs’ training ground but Samuel Shashoua quickly levelled for the hosts.

Guehi nodded home after Tariq Uwakwe’s corner was headed back across goal by Joseph Colley.

Shashoua hit back for the hosts, rounding Jamie Cumming to score after being put through by Dylan Duncan.

And Martell Taylor-Crossdale missed the chance to restore the lead when he shot wide from the penalty spot after Juan Castillo had been fouled in the box.

Keeper Cumming produced a brilliant save before the break to deny Jack Roles.

Cumming also did well to keep out a second-half strike from Reo Griffiths.

Chelsea thought they had scored injury-time winner but Charlie Brown’s effort was adjudged to have not crossed the line.
