Paper round-up: Reports claim Rabiot wants to join Liverpool rather than Spurs

Adrien Rabiot has reportedly rejected Tottenham because he wants to join Liverpool instead.

It comes after reports in France claimed that Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino had held talks with Rabiot, whose Paris St-Germain contract expires this summer.

The Sun have picked up on a story by Paris United claiming that France midfielder Rabiot is reluctant to move to Spurs and is keen to sign for Liverpool.

Meanwhile, new Nottingham Forest manager Martin O’Neill wants to sign Reece Oxford from West Ham, the Daily Mirror say.

There has been much speculation over the future of Oxford, who has had two spells on loan at Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Reports suggest the German club want to buy him but that Oxford would rather stay in England.

The Mirror say O’Neill is keen to take him to the City Ground and that Forest are set to table an £8m bid.

Arsenal are looking to push through a deal to sign Malcom on loan from Barcelona, the Mirror also say.

Inter Milan are interested in signing Mesut Ozil but want Arsenal to pay half his wages, the Daily Star claim.

The Star also claim Chelsea could re-sign Nathan Ake from Bournemouth for £40m, while the Daily Mail say Chelsea have made a £1m bid for 19-year-old Bristol City forward Antoine Semenyo.

And Crystal Palace are chasing a deal to re-sign their former winger Yannick Bolasie from Everton, the Mirror reports.
