Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino said his side felt they should have taken all three points against Liverpool at Anfield.
Harry Kane’s last-gasp penalty rescued a point for Spurs, who dominated much of the second half.
Substitute Victor Wanyama equalised for Spurs before Mohamed Salah’s second goal of the game, scored in injury time, appeared to clinch victory for Liverpool.
But Kane had the final word by hauling the visitors level with seconds remaining.
Speaking at his post-match press conference after the 2-2 draw, Pochettino said: “My team played so well. In the second half we were fantastic against a team that is fantastic when they are up on the scoreline.
“I think the control was amazing and the performance was amazing and the feeling now from the team is that we dropped two points.”
Kane buried his penalty at the Kop End having earlier missed from the spot after being brought down in the box.
His first kick was dismal, but his second emphatic – and was his 100th Premier League goal.
Pochettino said: “He’s one of the best strikers. He was calm.
“He can miss a penalty or a chance but he has the personality.
“You score 100 Premier League goals because you have big, big balls.”
