Josh Onomah is looking to make an impact on the Tottenham first team after scoring on his England Under-21 debut this week.
The 19-year-old netted against Bosnia-Herzegovina on Tuesday, having also scored for Spurs against Gillingham in the EFL Cup last month.
Onomah has made two substitute appearances in the Premier League this season, totalling seven minutes, but is hoping his goalscoring will get him on the pitch more often.
He told Tottenham’s website: “I’m enjoying my football at the moment and I’m looking to keep this positive momentum of scoring goals.
“Any chance that I get, I’m looking to score goals. It’s something that I’ve been working on for a while and I’m happy that the work has been paying off lately, but I’ve got to keep going and stay focused.
“Being around the lads here at the club, we’ve got good team morale and everyone’s looking forward to the games that are coming up now.
“Hopefully I can help to make an impact and hopefully we’ll do well.”
