Tottenham fans on Twitter have been reacting to the 1-0 defeat at Manchester United, with Christian Eriksen attracting plenty of criticism.
The result left Spurs 10 points behind Premier League leaders Chelsea.
And having returned to form against Swansea last week, Eriksen’s performance at Old Trafford left many fans frustrated.
That was complete garbage. Front 4 looked toothless until Moussa came on. Drop Eriksen pls Poch! #THFC

Out of all of the forward players today Sissoko did the most. Kane, Alli, Son, Eriksen did nothing. #THFC

Eriksen is most definitely not back on form (no matter what the papers said last week)!! He is in danger of being a serious flop!! #THFC

Can we swap Eriksen for Payet please #COYS

Dele and Eriksen look too comfortable. no urgency. Wanyama needs composure upfront. the fullbacks get dragged forward too much #COYS

disappointing really as we started better – but something has taken the edge off kane, dele and eriksen who sparkled midweek #COYS

Wanyama missed chance, Kane’s lack of form in the box, Eriksen’s poor link up. It’s been an uncharacteristic showing for Spurs.#COYS

Every other game Eriksen makes me wish we hadn’t sold Siggy’, so much talent coupled with so little grit! 70% man #COYS

Kane needs service and has had none – Alli main culprit, Both Alli and Eriksen have given the ball away nearly all day #COYS #THFC

We need an Eriksen with heart and muscle (who is also capable of taking corners) to run our midfield #COYS

Whilst our attacking 3 (Eriksen,Alli,Son) are good players they’re also very inconsistent. Today a prime example. #coys
