Manchester United fans on Twitter are hoping their club will make a move for Danny Rose after the full-back was left out of the Tottenham squad for Saturday’s 1-1 draw with West Brom at Wembley.
Rose has been linked with United in the media and his future with Spurs was thrown into further doubt when he was quoted as saying he was “fuming” at not starting last weekend’s north London derby with Arsenal.
And following his latest omission, some United supporters are hoping he could be Old Trafford bound…
#MUFC must sign Rose! We need a decent LB!

Luke Shaw/Danny Rose swap, do it lads!! #mufc #thfc

No Shaw in United’s squad today and no Rose in Spurs squad. Can see us going for Rose in January.

A left back has to be a priority now – clear that Luke Shaw has no future here. Young isn’t a left back and still risky playing him there as shown by the Newcastle game last week. Danny Rose swap deal?

Some Spurs fans were convinced Rose would be heading to Manchester, just like his former team-mate Kyle Walker, now at City…
So I’d say it’s looking like the exit door for Rose. Dropped again, continues to undermine Poch in the media. Take the money, reinvest, win the league. Simple #COYS

Who can blame Danny Rose for wanting to leave? He must look at Walker about to win the league and poss the champs league and think ‘that could be me’. Will win nothing at Tottenham. #COYS

Based on Poch’s body language and tone, it looks like Danny Rose is off in January.

Rose left out the squad again? Kyle walker scenario all over again, gone in Jan or the summer #COYS #thfc

However others were critical of boss Mauricio Pochettino for not selecting him after a below-par display from Ben Davies…
Really want to know the nuts & bolts of the Danny Rose situation. Poch says there’s no problem / So play him, of st least he should be on the bench. Davies not on his game, while Rose showed against #Dortmund –#HesBack #thfc #coys

Pochettino is a great manager no arguments there, but I’m sorry, he must be on the booze to think that Ben Davies should be starting over Danny Rose.

Poch shouldve known this is a gamw for Danny Rose out on the left #COYS

No wonder Danny Rose wants to leave when he’s being kept out the side by Ben Davies putting in performances like that, awful performance from Davies today
