There continues to be speculation over the future of Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen.

The likes of Real Madrid have been linked with the Dane, who has been in negotiations over a new Spurs contract.

The Daily Star have now sought to link him with Manchester United and Liverpool.

The story is based on Kieran Maguire, an academic the Star call a “football finance boffin”, apparently suggesting that the two Premier League clubs would be interested in a deal to sign Eriksen.

Maguire is quoted as saying: “Players of that calibre are few and far between. With 18 months to go on his contract, Spurs could probably get £45m for him.”

Meanwhile, The Independent say Tottenham want Sampdoria’s Danish defender Joachim Andersen if Toby Alderweireld leaves.

The Daily Express say Spurs want AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie to replace Mousa Dembele, who is set for a move to China.

The Sun claim Manchester City want West Ham’s Declan Rice.

It is claimed that Rice, who recently signed a new long-term contract, is seen as the ideal replacement for City’s veteran midfielder Fernandinho.

The Sun reckon Rice has “caught the attention” of Pep Guardiola and that the City boss sees similarities between the Hammers youngster and Fernandinho.

The Daily Mail say West Ham could be tempted to sell Marko Arnautovic for £50m after reportedly rejecting an offer of £35m from a Chinese club.

The Mail say Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata is wanted by Atletico Madrid and that the Blues will report Bayern Munich to FIFA if they find evidence of an illegal approach by the German champions to Callum Hudson-Odoi.

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has agreed a summer move to Juventus, The Guardian reports, while The Sun say the Gunners have held successful talks over a deal to sign Belgium winger Yannick Carrasco from Chinese club Dalian Yifang.

Timothy Fosu-Mensah wants to cut short his loan at Fulham from Manchester United and join another club, The Times reports.

And the Daily Express say Brentford are demanding £20m for striker Neal Maupay, who has been linked with Aston Villa.
