Kane: Spurs will attack against Juventus

Harry Kane has insisted Tottenham will not change their attacking way of playing for the Champions League second leg against Juventus.

Spurs clash with the Italian side in the last-16 tie at Wembley on Wednesday after grabbing two away goals in a 2-2 draw in Turin in the first leg.

It means a clean sheet would seal a place in the quarter-finals for Kane’s side.

However, speaking to reporters, Kane said: “We know they need to score but we can’t go into the game with that being in our thoughts.

“We always play on the front foot, always play attacking football, and I know that’s exactly what the manager will say to do on Wednesday.

“We played well in the first game and we want to take that into this game.

“We probably weren’t favourites before but maybe people are looking at us now saying we should go through. So we’ve got to cope with that and see how we come through it.

“It will be a tough game but it’s what you look forward to as a player. We’ll approach it the same as any game – press high, play quick football and attack them.”

Kane has also called on Spurs fans to do their bit on Wednesday.

“It will be a full house, the atmosphere is always amazing once we get going, so I hope they can cheer us on as much as they can and make it difficult for them,” he said.

“We’ve had some great results here recently. The fans have been great.”
