An injury to Vincent Janssen has dashed Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino’s hopes of offloading the striker, according to The Sun.
Janssen, 24, is expected to be sidelined until the new year.
The Sun say Pochettino had planned to sell the Dutchman, who was loaned out to Fenerbahce last season.
The Sun also continue to suggest that Danny Rose and Toby Alderweireld can leave for the right price even though the English transfer window being closed means Spurs would not be able to sign a replacement.
Meanwhile, The Times say England boss Gareth Southgate plans to watch Crystal Palace youngster Aaron Wan-Bissaka in action against Liverpool on Monday.
The Guardian reports that West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini believes his side should have no fear of playing at the London Stadium.
“It is our home stadium because it is what this club needs and deserves,” he said.
The Daily Mail reports that Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is confident he will still be able to attend Blues matches this season despite issues with his visa.
And The Sun claim Wayne Routledge could be on his way back to QPR from Swansea City.
Former R’s, Palace and Spurs winger Routledge is wanted on loan by the west London club along with Brighton forward Tomer Hemed, The Sun say.
