The news that Harry Kane has signed a new long-term deal has delighted Tottenham fans on Twitter.
The England striker is now under contract at White Hart Lane until the summer of 2022, with reports the 23-year-old will be paid a basic wage of £80,000 a week, rising to £120,000 a week if performance-related targets are met.
And Spurs supporters were relieved to see Kane commit his future to the club.

If any Spurs player has deserved to smash our wage structure in the last few years, it’s Harry Kane. Great news he’s committed #COYS #THFC

Other Tottenham fans were also keen to credit chairman Daniel Levy, who had been criticised for imposing a strict wage structure.
Like/dislike Levy nobody can’t fault his intention to finally tie-down key players long-term, seems lessons finally been learnt #COYS#THFC

Got to give Levy credit for getting Kane to sign for £100k a week when he could of probably got £200k a week elsewhere. #COYS
