Tottenham may be prepared to offer Tanguy Ndombele to AC Milan in an attempt to sign Frank Kessie, the Daily Express say.
Kessie has been linked with English clubs during successive transfer windows and is again being touted for a possible move in January.
The Ivory Coast midfielder has also been linked with Chelsea, but a move to Stamford Bridge seems unlikely given that they have added to their already strong midfield options with the recent signing of Saul Niguez on a season-long loan from Atletico Madrid.
Niguez is expected to make the move to west London permanent at the end of the season and the Blues also have the likes of N’Golo Kante, Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic to call upon.
While Chelsea’s interest in Kessie appears to have cooled, he is now being heavily linked with a move to north London.
And the Express say France midfielder Ndombele could be used as a makeweight in a potential cash-plus-player deal.
Kessie, 24, was strongly linked with both Spurs and Chelsea prior to joining Milan from Atalanta in 2017.
He impressed for the Rossoneri last season, scoring 13 goals in 37 Serie A games as they finished second in the table.
