Nuno Espirito Santo has called for unity and insisted Tottenham can turn the corner.
The recent derby defeat against Arsenal continued a difficult start for Nuno as Spurs boss.
His team have scored just four goals in six league games and have had the lowest number of shots of any team in the Premier League.
Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday, Nuno said: “Sticking together is the only way to do it.
“We don’t panic because we know, I know, that this is football. It’s how you react to the bad moments. It’s something you cannot avoid.
“You go through history, every team goes through a moment like this. The sooner we get out of this the better.”
The Tottenham Hotspur Supporters’ Trust have requested a meeting with the club’s board amid growing discontent among supporters.
And reports have claimed that Nuno is struggling to win over Tottenham players.
The Sun newspaper has reported that the players were not warming to the Portuguese coach.
But Nuno insisted that the squad are behind him.
“There are no doubts about that because we work together every day,” he said.
“In terms of fans, now is not the moment to ask them. Of course we need them – we need their support because the players and the team need the support of the fans, but it isn’t the moment to ask them.
“It’s the moment to deliver. Belief is the first stop and we have it.”
