Tottenham are set to complete the signing of winger Jack Clarke from Leeds United.
Several Premier League sides have shown an interest in the 18-year-old, who impressed in the Championship last season.
And after talks between the two clubs, Clarke is poised to sign for Spurs in an £8.5m deal.
Spurs also want West Brom’s highly-rated teenage midfielder Rekeem Harper – but he too is being chased by a number of other clubs.
Talks have taken place with West Brom about a potential deal for Harper to sign for Spurs and then spend next season back on loan with the Baggies.
Meanwhile, there continues to be speculation over the future of Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen.
The Mirror claim Eriksen is now eyeing a move to Manchester United or Juventus after Real Madrid apparently cooled their interest in the Danish midfielder.
Eriksen has a year remaining on his contract in north London and has been tipped to move during this summer’s transfer window.
The Mirror say Spurs do not want to stand in his way but that chairman Daniel Levy wants £100m for him.
