Paper round-up: United linked with Moura and Dier

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to sign Tottenham duo Lucas Moura and Eric Dier, according to the Daily Star Sunday.

United, already repeatedly linked with Christian Eriksen and Toby Alderweireld, are now said to be keen on two more Spurs players.

Moura signed a five-year deal only in July but has not been a regular starter under boss Mauricio Pochettino, leading to speculation about his future.

The Daily Star Sunday say Moura is unhappy at Spurs and that Solskjaer is a “huge admirer” of the Brazilian and is also monitoring Dier.

Meanwhile, the Daily Express say Tottenham have identified James Maddison as a potential replacement for Eriksen.

It comes after Maddison impressed – and scored the winner – in Leicester’s win over Spurs on Saturday.

Arsenal are reportedly hoping to re-sign Dutch forward Donyell Malen.

The 20-year-old, sold for £500,000 two years ago, has scored 10 goals in 13 games for PSV Eindhoven this season.

The Sunday Mirror claim Malen is wanted by up to 45 clubs, including the Gunners and Liverpool.

And Crystal Palace are said to be among clubs interested in Wolves youngster Cameron John.

Centre-back John, 20, has impressed this season on loan at Doncaster Rovers.

The Mail on Sunday say Palace, Leicester and Middlesbrough are interested in him and that he was watched by scouts in Doncaster’s game against Peterborough.

He has a year remaining on his contract at Molineux but Wolves have an option to extend it by a further 12 months.
