Barcelona have again been linked with Tottenham defender Toby Alderweireld.
The Daily Mirror suggest Manchester United, who have also been linked with the Belgian, face competition from Barca.
Spurs are said to be open to selling Alderweireld when the transfer window reopens in January.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have an option enabling them to re-sign Nathan Ake from Bournemouth for a fee of around £40m, the Daily Telegraph reports.
That story leads the Daily Express to declare that Chelsea are “in pole position” to sign Ake ahead of Spurs and Manchester United, who have also been linked with him.
The Sun have picked up on reports that Manchester City are ready to pay £62m for Ajax’s 21-year-old Netherlands midfielder Frenkie de Jong, who has also been linked with Spurs.
Crystal Palace are among the clubs being linked with Edin Dzeko, who is being touted for a possible return to the Premier League.
The Mirror claim Palace, Southampton and Cardiff are all interested in signing Roma’s former Manchester City striker.
He seemingly wants a return to England, where he scored 72 goals during his time at City.
Dzeko said recently: “It’s probably too late for me to return to the Premier League, but you never know: we’ll see.”
And Arsenal want Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey, the Express say.
It is claimed that Arsenal are set to battle with Paris St-Germain, who apparently also want the Ghana international.
Unai Emery is said to be an admirer of the player from the Gunners boss’ time in charge at Sevilla.
