England player ratings: How the London contingent performed at Wembley

England eased to a 4-0 win against Iceland in the Nations League. Here’s how we rated each of the London contingent in the game at Wembley.

Eric Dier: 7

The Tottenham man has his doubters but was more than comfortable against an Iceland side who offered very little threat.

Bukayo Saka: 7

Another encouraging display from the Arsenal wide-man, who played a key role in creating England’s second goal, scored by Mason Mount. Full of pace and enthusiasm, Saka was always a danger on the left flank.

Declan Rice: 7

A first England goal for the West Ham star, who headed in Phil Foden’s free-kick. Didn’t put a foot wrong in midfield, albeit against limited opposition.

Mason Mount: 8

Scored with a cool finish and his all-round display before being substituted in the second half was excellent. The Chelsea youngster took up some clever positions and always looked to create.

Harry Kane: 7

No goal tonight for the Tottenham striker but as always his link-up play was very good. Hassled defenders to help set up Mount’s goal.

Harry Winks: 7

The Tottenham midfielder was neat, tidy and positive after coming on in the second half.

Tammy Abraham: 6

On for Kane for the last 15 minutes, Chelsea’s Abraham put himself about up front and offered fresh legs in the final stages.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles: 6

On as a late substitute, the Arsenal man didn’t have enough time to make an impact but did swing in one decent cross from the right.
