Mauricio Pochettino and his Tottenham side face a crucial game next week.
Barcelona forward Malcom has been ruled out for up to two weeks with a sprained ankle, meaning he will miss Tuesday’s Champions League clash with Tottenham.
Barcelona announced the Brazilian would be out for “10 to 15 days” after hurting his right ankle in the Copa del Rey win over Cultural Leonesa on Wednesday night.
Malcom was linked with both Spurs and Arsenal prior to his move to Barca.
His injury means he will also miss Saturday’s derby with Espanyol.
Tottenham travel to the Nou Camp needing to match Inter Milan’s result at home to PSV Eindhoven to qualify for the Champions League knockout stages.
