Tottenham are reportedly interested in highly-rated Leeds United youngster Jack Clarke.
The Mail say Spurs and Manchester City are keeping tabs on the 18-year-old, who has two-and-a-half years left on his contract at Elland Road.
Reports say Leeds are stalling on offering the youngster a new deal.
Meanwhile, there continues to be speculation over the future of Christian Eriksen.
The Tottenham midfielder has been discussing a new contract with the club amid reports linking him with a potential move to Real Madrid.
Spanish newspaper AS say it has been told by a source close to the player that an agreement looks “very, very difficult”, with Eriksen highly unlikely to sign a new deal.
Eriksen is said to be keen to leave the door open to a move to Real, who have reportedly already invited Tottenham to name their price for him.
AS say Spurs demanded £220m for the Dane and have made it clear there is no prospect of him being sold during this month’s transfer window.
Spanish media reports have consistently suggested that offers have been made, or will be made, for Eriksen and Chelsea star Eden Hazard as well as a number of other players.
However, none have been made and Spurs are believed to be confident an agreement with Eriksen will eventually be reached.
