Juventus are looking to beat Tottenham to the signing of Sampdoria’s Patrik Schick, The Sun say.
It comes after Goal.com reported that Juve are keen to sign the Czech forward, who was recently linked with Spurs by The Sun.
The newspaper declare that Juventus are looking to snatch him “from under the noses of Tottenham” during this summer’s transfer window.
A number of other clubs, including Arsenal, are said to have shown an interest in the 21-year-old. Roma and Inter Milan are also reported to be keen on him.
He joined Sampdoria from Sparta Prague only last summer and is under contract until 2020 but reportedly has a £21m release clause.
Meanwhile, Arsenal have made another offer to Alexis Sanchez in an attempt to keep him at the Emirates Stadium, the Daily Mail say.
Bayern Munich are reportedly pursuing a deal to sign the Chilean forward, whose Gunners contract is due to expire next year.
The Mail believe Arsenal have offered him around £270,000 a week.
Sanchez is reported to be demanding £300,000 a week but the Mail say Arsenal’s offer is loaded with incentives and is therefore worth close to the amount he wants.
Newcastle and Brighton have been given permission by Chelsea to speak to Tammy Abraham about a potential loan move, according to the Telegraph.
The 19-year-old enjoyed a prolific season on loan in the Championship with Bristol City and is expected to sign a new contract at Chelsea this summer.
The Blues are keen for him to pick up more experience, this time on loan in the Premier League, and promoted clubs Brighton and Newcastle are reported to be vying to sign him.
And Chelsea will not sell Diego Costa for less than £60m, according to The Times.
The Blues striker was tipped to complete a £76m move to Tianjin Quanjian but that now looks in doubt after the Chinese Football Association announced a new 100% tax to be levied on the signing of foreign players.
The Times say Chelsea are unwilling to sell Costa on the cheap, while The Sun say the new tax means Chinese clubs would have to pay £150m in order to sign him, and the Mail say he would cost £152m.
