There continues to be speculation over the future of Christian Eriksen.

The Danish midfielder, who has been discussing a new contract at Tottenham, has been linked with Real Madrid.

The Daily Express have declared that Paris St-Germain will battle with Real in an attempt to sign him and that this has “stunned” the Spanish club.

The newspaper also believe that, as well as seeking a pay rise, Eriksen is unhappy about the roles he has been asked to play in by manager Mauricio Pochettino this season.

It is claimed that Eriksen wants parity with team-mates Dele Alli – whose recently-signed new contract is reportedly worth £150,000 a week – and Harry Kane.

The Express also claim that Jack Grealish or Bradley Dack could be brought in as a replacement for Eriksen if he leaves.

Spurs previously showed an interest in Aston Villa star Grealish and continue to be linked with him despite him signing a new deal at Villa, while Dack was also recently linked after impressing for Blackburn.

The Sun have claimed that Real are looking to sign Eriksen along with Manchester United and England forward Marcus Rashford.

In what the newspaper describe as a “daring £90million double raid”, it is claimed that Real have been keeping tabs on both players and are determined to snap them up.

Eriksen, who has been a key player for Tottenham under Pochettino, has been touted as a possible replacement for former Spurs star Luka Modric at Real.

Reports in Spain suggest Modric could be sold in January and that Eriksen is among Real’s top targets.

It comes as UK newspaper reports have recently suggested that Eriksen’s contract talks with Spurs have stalled.
