Ange Postecoglou bemoaned Tottenham’s poor defending in their 4-2 defeat at Wolves.
The result piles more pressure on the Australian, whose future looks to be in doubt.
“I thought we were well in the game and controlled it really well, but we just kept conceding really poor goals,” Postecoglou said.
A mishandled clearance by goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario led to an own goal, and an error by Lucas Bergvall resulted in Wolves’ fourth goal.
“We didn’t start the game well. We controlled the game well enough, we just weren’t threatening enough,” Postecoglou admitted.
“I’ll keep doing what I think is the right thing to get success for this club. That doesn’t change.
“The task is difficult because of our situation but, like most things that are fairly difficult to traverse, it’s only temporary, we’ll get through it and we’ll come out stronger.”
