Highly-rated Tottenham youngster Josh Onomah is set to join Aston Villa on loan.
Villa are close to finalising a deal to sign the 20-year-old midfielder for the coming season.
He is regarded as one of Spurs’ best prospects and a number of other Championship clubs have been trying to snap him up on loan.
Onomah has made 13 Premier League appearances, all of them as a substitute, and has featured 32 times for the Tottenham first team in total.
He made his senior debut in an FA Cup match against Burnley in January 2015.
The Enfield-born player is an England Under-21 international and also featured in this year’s Under-20 European Championship.
Onomah has also represented his country at Under-16, Under-17, Under-18 and Under-19 levels.
