Stefan Johansen is set to complete a loan move to QPR and is likely to be joined at the club by another midfielder.
West London Sport have been reporting that Rangers are keen on Johansen and have since reported that his arrival from Fulham is imminent.
The Norway international, who recently turned 30, has been out of the first-team picture at Fulham, where his contract runs until 2022.
He has not made a league appearance this season but the move to Fulham’s neighbours will give him a chance to get regular game time for the remainder of the campaign.
And it seems he might well be joined at Loftus Road by another new signing before the transfer window closes.
West London Sport have also been reporting that QPR were keen to bring in a midfielder before Tom Carroll’s injury and are now looking to make two signings in that area after the former Tottenham man was ruled out for three months.
Carroll suffered a knee injury during the recent win at Luton and has had to have surgery.
His absence is a blow for Rangers manager Mark Warburton as Carroll, signed in the summer on a one-year deal, had been in good form.
