Conor Masterson looks set to leave QPR on loan.
West London Sport reports that Rangers are ready to loan out Masterson following the arrival of Jordy de Wijs and that a number of clubs are interested in the Irishman.
Masterson, 22, has had limited game time since being signed after being released by Liverpool during the summer of 2019.
He has been kept out of the side by Rob Dickie and Yoann Barbet, with the signing of De Wijs now giving manager Mark Warburton an additional option at centre-back.
Dutchman De Wijs, 26, has been brought in on loan from Hull City for the rest of the season with a view to a permanent move.
Warburton has been looking for an imposing centre-back with technical ability and De Wijs seems to fit the bill.
“I am a defender with abilities to play football,” De Wijs told QPR’s website.
“I am a robust defender. I like to get challenges in and don’t mind a bit of physical contact.
“I want to get myself match fit and play as many games as possible.
“Hopefully it won’t take too long. I will do everything to be back on the pitch as soon as possible and give everything for this club.”
