Conor Masterson has signed a new contract and other QPR players are set to follow his lead and put pen to paper.
West London Sport reported last month that Masterson, Osman Kakay, keeper Seny Dieng and Dom Ball were in line for improved deals.
Masterson has now signed a three-year contract at Loftus Road and it appears the others will also soon be re-signing.
Centre-back Masterson, 22, has impressed for the R’s since being signed last summer after being released by Liverpool.
“At Liverpool I really enjoyed it and learnt a lot but I needed to play first-team football and QPR gave me that opportunity,” he told Rangers’ website.
“I was nervous at the time but I was excited as well to join QPR.
“I just wanted to get into it and I have always said that as soon as I got here, the welcome I had from the club was great. It was a good fit for me.”
“Getting the opportunity to play in first-team matches is obviously a big thing. You’re learning in the game, on the job as they say. I can’t ask for much more than that.
“To play 15 games last season was an unbelievable start for me, and long may that continue.”
