Luke Freeman has insisted he is focused on helping improve QPR’s fortunes rather than speculation about his future.

Rangers rejected offers this summer for Freeman from the likes of Middlesbrough, who are still said to be keeping tabs on him.

The interest is a reflection of Freeman’s performances since joining the R’s from Bristol City, but the midfielder told the club’s website he focusing on his performances.

“It’s good to get the recognition but I just want to concentrate on letting my football do the talking,” he said.

“What’s most important is how QPR are doing and what direction we are heading in as a team. We are all working hard to get a run going and to get some more wins on the board. That’s the most-important thing.

“We are really looking forward to Bolton on Saturday. We will do our homework on them and head up there in confident mood.”

QPR endured a miserable start to the season, losing all four of their opening league matches under boss Steve McClaren before hitting back with a win against Wigan and a draw at Birmingham.

“It was a bit of a wake-up call, it makes you realise how close the division is as well,” Freeman said
