QPR boss Steve McClaren is set to make a late decision on whether to start with Geoff Cameron against Norwich City later today.
Cameron, on loan from Stoke City, made his full debut for the R’s in their 2-0 win at home to Millwall in midweek.
The 33-year-old’s lack of match action caught up with him and he was struggling badly towards the end of the game.
He faces a fitness test before the clash with the Canaries at Loftus Road and looks doubtful.
“It was important that we played Geoff Cameron,” McClaren told West London Sport after the Millwall game.
“He’s not had a game, he’s not played – and I don’t think he’ll be fit for Saturday the way he’s crawled off.
“But we needed him and we just hope we recover. We’ve got to go again Saturday.”
Josh Scowen is standing by to reclaim his starting place in the Rangers midfield.
Scowen, who has recovered from a recent knee problem, was left on the bench after Cameron was given the nod to start on Wednesday.
Jordan Cousins has played well for Rangers of late and looks set to keep his place in the side for today’s game.
