Jordan Cousins has declared himself fit for QPR’s game against Bolton this weekend.

Cousins has not made a first-team appearance this season because of a hamstring injury he picked up during pre-season.

But he featured in an Under-23 match against his former club Charlton on Monday – his third recent outing for Rangers’ second string.

Cousins played 70 minutes of the game at The Valley, as did Grant Hall, who is returning from a knee injury.

The visitors, who trailed 3-0 at half-time, won 5-4, with Olamide Shodipo scoring a hat-trick and Romeo Akinola and Reece Grego-Cox getting their other goals.

Cousins told Get West London: “It’s my third game now. I played against Watford, I played against Crystal Palace and now Charlton’s my third game so I declare myself fit and ready to go now.

“It’s just about biding my time. I probably needed the minutes from today’s game but now I feel good and it’s up to the manager now.

“I’ll train as hard as I can and when the opportunity comes I’ll make sure I take it.”

West London Sport, meanwhile, report that Huddersfield attacking midfielder Deshane Dalling, 19, has joined the R’s on trial.

Dalling was signed on an 18-month contract by the Terriers in January. He was previously at Staines Town.
