Two players are having trials with QPR ahead of possible moves to Loftus Road.

West London Sport reports that Rangers are looking at Sam Chaney and Sinn’kaye Christie and that both players featured in an Under-23 match against Colchester United on Friday.

Republic of Ireland Under-21 forward Reece Grego-Cox scored the home side’s goal in a 5-1 defeat at QPR’s Harlington training ground.

It was a below strength R’s line-up because a number of squad players featured in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Charlton which was played on the same day.

Chaney, 21, plays for Torquay United and came on as a second-half substitute in Friday’s game.

Chaney operates mainly in midfield but can also play at right-back and is being considered as a possible signing by the west London club.

Christie, 19, is a central defender who plays for the Nike Academy and is hoping to be given a break by a professional club.

He previously had a trial at Bradford City and has also played for a number of non-League clubs, including Wealdstone and Potters Bar.

Meanwhile, QPR midfielder Massimo Luongo featured for Australia as they drew 0-0 with Honduras in the first leg of their World Cup qualifying play-off.
